What we do differently

Our editors read the research, talk to practitioners who work with real athletes, and field-test the tools we write about. When a study contradicts a popular claim, we say so. When evidence is thin, we say that too.

Real meals, honest label reading, and what the research says about protein, carbs, and supplements worth your money. We cover fueling for strength, endurance, and general health — with a bias toward what holds up long-term.

Training

Programming for people with jobs. Foundational lifts, home-based strength work, running form, mobility that survives past week two, and conditioning built around how your week actually looks.

Fitness Science

Peer-reviewed research in plain English. Hypertrophy mechanisms, sleep and adaptation, the limits of genetic testing, what VO₂max predicts and what it doesn’t. We include the study caveats most summaries leave out.

How elite athletes train, recover, and think. We extract the transferable principles — not the parts that only work with a team of physiotherapists and unlimited recovery time.
